Bitcoin ATM Purchase Procedure

At the Bitcoin ATM

Step 1: Choose Limit:

1.1 Up to £500 – SMS verification required.

1.2 Over £500 – SMS verification and photo of your ID.

ID must be a valid EU drivers license, National ID card or passport.

ID documents must have the photo, document number, valid to date, first and last names visible to complete registration.

Step 2: Verification:

2.1 SMS verification: Enter your mobile number including the UK country code (+44) – 07941XXXXXX would be +4407941XXXXXX.

Press and hold for ‘+’ symbol.
SMS verification is required to verify you are present at the ATM.

2.1.1 Enter the 5 digit verification code sent to you phone into the ATM.

2.2 ID verification.

ID is photographed by the ATM.

Follow the on screen instructions.

ID verification can take up to 30 mins.

Once your ID has been verified you will receive an SMS message to your phone.

Your account is registered to your phone number.

Step 3: Choose Currency:

3.1 GBP for English Notes.

3.2 ECO for Scottish Notes.(Only one type of currency can be used per transaction.)

Step 4: Wallet Address:

4.1 Display the ₿itcoin destination address QR code on your phone to the ATM.

Step 5: Insert Notes:Insert the amount of notes for the transaction.
Once inserted notes cannot be returned.
Shop staff do not have access to the cash in the ATM.
£50 notes are difficult to enter into the machine, but will be accepted.

Fees on transactions are 5% and are facilitated through Kraken exchange.
